Students in Mrs. Beattie's and Ms. Damiano's fifth- and sixth-grade AIS classes at Albany Elementary joined together to celebrate Black History Month with a thoughtful and interactive project. The students researched notable historical figures, wrote about their lasting contributions and created a display designed to test each other's knowledge of these influential individuals.
Throughout the building, other students also marked the month with meaningful projects, proudly filling the hallways with displays that highlighted their learning and hard work.
