PROCTOR SENIOR HONORED WITH COUNTYWIDE YOUTH AWARD

Congratulations to Aldin Bajrektarevic, a Proctor High School senior, who was recognized by the Oneida County Youth Bureau with the prestigious “Spirit of Success Youth Award” as part of the Class of 2025 Youth/Adult Awards.

Aldin was honored at a ceremony on June 5 at MVCC alongside other outstanding youth and adult recipients from across the county. Aldin was joined by his family and Proctor counselor Ms. Constanza. The awards, selected by the Oneida County Youth Advisory Board, celebrate individuals who demonstrate leadership, service, and a commitment to making Oneida County a better place.

The Utica City School District is incredibly proud of Aldin’s accomplishments and the example he sets for his peers. His recognition is a testament to the character, work ethic, and community spirit that define UCSD.
