This summer, the Cross Country Camp provided student-athletes with a strong foundation for the upcoming Modified, JV, and Varsity seasons. The camp focused on injury prevention and performance by incorporating full-body workouts in the Proctor weight room twice a week as part of a structured training program.
Coaches emphasized that running is a full-body effort, and the camp helped athletes develop the strength and discipline needed for long-term success. For junior Raiders, the camp served as an introduction to the training techniques they will continue to build on as they progress through the cross-country program.
Beyond physical fitness, the camp also provided a chance for teammates to connect, support one another, and build a positive, team-focused environment.
