The Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium hosted some special visitors recently, CTE students who were eager to learn not just about sports, but the world of business.
During the Utica Auditorium site visit, students toured the facility and gained firsthand insight into how a large venue operates as a major business. Throughout the visit, students learned about the marketing strategies used to promote events, attract audiences and build community engagement, as well as the financial components involved in budgeting, revenue generation and overall operational planning. The experience helped students connect real-world business concepts to a working entertainment venue, highlighting how marketing and finance play a critical role in the success and sustainability of the organization.
